This isn't a request D: This is something I had to do.
Project for Japanese 1 class. In japan you pretty much don't make Christmas cards but New Years is a big deal so you send out lotsa those.
Next year is year of the rat so our assignment was to make a New Years Card with it.
It pretty much says "Happy New Years. January 1st, 2008"
I really like to add more than one tone when I color. It makes the work brighter and gives it mroe life I think. So yeah. Thats why its so bright and thats why there's like purple and blue in the rat's fur.

Inked with a thin black sharpie. =/

Ha, in Japanese clas we had to make New Years cards too... of course, mine had a pathetic looking snowman (with two snowballs) on it. I like yours WAY more. It's interesting... we have Japanese I and II in the same classroom at the same time, so the teacher teaches one side of the class, then the other. I'm in Japanese II... which we now are doing relative clauses and stuff... blah. Anyway, my point was that I really like your card. ^^
By the way... shouldn't it be "onegai shimasu" and not "onekai shimasu"?
